Access

Introduction

The Sherborne Lodge is an old building dating back 200 years located in a quiet road which is on the hill leading up the Torrs area of the town.  Access to the car park is good except for minibuses which can be limited if there is a car parked opposite the entrance.

Pre Arrival

The Sherborne Lodge is approximately half a mile from the bus station, which is level most of the way until about 200 yards from the property where the rise to the Torrs begins.  However there is a bus stop about 3 minutes from the property.

Car Parking Facilities

There is ample parking available in our own car park which has a slight slope up to the building.  However, it is possible to park outside the front door to load and unload your luggage.

The Building

The front door is 2ft 8inches wide and leads to reception and the guest lounge.  The bar and breakfast room are down stairs but can also be accessed from the patio area—with one step down-  from the car park.  Only room 1 is on the ground floor which is a single room with a 4ft bed. 

The other bedrooms are on the first and second floor—the family suites are all on the second floor.

All doors are fire doors with self-closing mechanisms.
